Kyle Busch signs his 200th victory at Fontana

Kyle Busch (Toyota) a une nouvelle fois été imbattable cette semaine sur l’Auto Club Speedway de Fontana (Californie). Une semaine après sa victoire à Phoenix (Arizona), le pilote de la Joe Gibbs Racing a atteint son objectif des 200 victoires en Nascar All categories. The 2015 champion dominated the event, having led more than half of the laps despite a penalty imposed in the final segment for excessive speed in the pits.

The Team Penske Ford Mustangs were once again strong although they could not keep pace with the #18 Toyota Camry, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski completing the top three while their teammate Ryan Blaney took 5th. place behind Kevin Harvick (Ford).

Kurt Busch was the only driver on a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to reach the Top 10, finishing in 6th place at the end of a fairly fluid event marked by the puncture of Bubba Wallace Jr (Chevrolet) at the end of the race while Brad Keselowski was still in the lead after the penalty imposed on Kyle Busch.
