Kyle Busch wins in Phoenix

Kyle Busch (Toyota) a été intraitable ce week-end à Phoenix (Arizona). Déjà vainqueur du deuxième segment, le champion 2015 a attendu le bon moment pour porter l’attaque sur le leader Ryan Blaney (Ford) afin de limiter sa consommation d’essence.

The driver of the No. 18 Camry finally won ahead of his teammate Martin Truex Jr, Ryan Blaney having to settle for 3rd place after winning the first segment ahead of Aric Almirola (Ford) and the Chevrolets of Kyle Larson, Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson. On the other hand, Kevin Harvick (Ford) had to settle for 9th position even though he is the biggest winner with 9 successes on this oval.

Kyle Busch notched his 199th victory in Nascar all categories combined and is only one success away from the record of Richard Petty who nevertheless achieved all his successes at the highest level of Nascar.
