Brian Scott will take his first steps in the Sprint Cup at the next Nascar meeting in Charlotte. The Richard Childress Racing driver will pilot the No. 33 Chevrolet.

Nascar – Brian Scott will make his Sprint Cup debut at Charlotte

After having practically played three full seasons in the Nationwide Series, Brian Scott will take his first steps in the Sprint Cup by being entered in the Charlotte event on October 12. The Richard Childress Racing driver will have the satisfaction of being behind the wheel of the No. 33 Chevrolet in addition to competing in the Nationwide race. The Idaho native has already distinguished himself on this 1,5 mile oval with a top five and three top tens in seven starts made in the second category. The 25-year-old American is currently having a convincing season in the second division as he occupies seventh place in the Championship with one pole, three top fives and 12 top tens on the clock.

“Brian is doing a good job with us this year in the Nationwide Series and it’s always positive to see a young talent arriving in the discipline”, comments Richard Childress, director of the eponymous team. “He showed good potential behind the wheel of our cars and took his chance to try out in the Sprint Cup Series. » As for the person concerned, he will be keen to achieve the best possible result to try to definitively reach the next level. “It’s something I’ve dreamed of since I started competing.
