Nascar – Dale Earnhardt Jr on pole at Dover

Ryan Newman (Stewart-Haas Racing) and Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) will start from the second row.

The other Chasers are further back. Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) is the closest after setting the eighth fastest time ahead of Kurt Busch (Furniture Row Racing). Joey Logano (Penske Racing) is 11th ahead of Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing). Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) follows in 14th position, Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) is 16th, Greg Biggle (Roush Fenway Racing) 19th. Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports) and Clint Bowyer (Michael Waltrip Racing) will start from 20th and 23rd place respectively.
