Nascar – Greg Biffle leaves Roush Fenway Racing

The poor performance of the Roush Fenway Racing Fords tested Greg Biffle's patience. The driver of the No. 16 Fusion has announced his departure from the team after 19 years of his partnership. Since his Sprint Cup debut in 2002, Biffle has 19 wins, 92 top fives, 5 top tens and 175 poles in 13 starts.

Greg Biffle suffered from Roush Fenway Racing's bad run since his last victory at Michigan in 2013. He has not finished in the top ten of the Drivers' standings since 2013.

“I want to perform well in the race and progress in the top ten, commented Greg Biffle. If I can't do this anymore, I'll probably do something different. I spent 19 wonderful years with Roush Fenway Racing. We ended the contract by mutual agreement after several months of reflection. »

Roush Fenway Racing has not specified whether it will retain three cars in 2017. Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse Jr are also representing the interests of Jack Roush.
