Nascar – Harvick wins in Texas

Kevin Harvick (Ford) won his ticket to the final of the Nascar Cup Series contested on November 19 in Homestead-Miami (Florida) by winning the AAA Texas 500 on the 1,5 mile oval where he had never won before.

While he had only one success this season on the road test in Sonoma (California) last June, the resident of the Stewart-Haas Racing s’est montré au-dessus du lot en fin de course.

With only the Phoenix (Arizona) event remaining this weekend to determine the last finalist, Hendrick Motorsports finds itself threatened since Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson (Chevrolet) occupy the last places among the title contenders . Jeff Gordon's replacement in the #24 SS finished eighth while the seven-time champion placed an anonymous 27th, finishing more than three laps behind the winner.
