Jamie McMurray (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing) termine septième devant Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty Motorsports) et Greg Biffle (Roush Fenway Racing). Mark Martin parvient à accrocher un top dix sur la Toyota n°11 de Denny Hamlin qu’il remplaçait ce week-end. Danica Patrick (Steart-Haas Racing) took a very satisfactory 12th place behind Brian Vickers (Michael Waltrip Racing) after his No. 10 Chevrolet started from the back of the grid following an engine change.
