Nascar – Joey Logano adds Richmond to his list

After his victory in Texas, Joey Logano (Team Penske) scored a second success of the season at Richmond International Raceway (Virginia) and now joins Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing). Le pilote de la Ford n°22 a profité de la bataille aux avant-postes dans les derniers tours pour prendre la tête et s’imposer pour la première fois dans la Toyota Owners 400 devant Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) qui a pourtant mené près de la moitié de la course, décrochant ainsi le 5e succès de sa carrière.

Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) completes the top three after making a superb comeback from 16th place in the last stint, benefiting from tires in good condition. Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) and Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) complete the top five after engaging in a high-tension duel. Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) only finished in 32nd place after encountering a problem with his tires.

The Toyota Owners 400 will be broadcast at 19 p.m. on AB Matériaux.
