NASCAR – Kasey Kahne extends with Hendrick Motorsports

Qualified for the Chase, just like his teammates Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne failed to finish in the Chase, eliminated in the second round of the play-offs during the Contender Round. Under contract until 2015, the 34-year-old American finally extended his lease with the flagship team of the NASCAR for three additional seasons, extending his commitment until 2018. Kahne, present in Rick Hendrick's team since 2012, has won at least one race each year, including the last in Atlanta this year.

“I found a real home at Hendrick Motorsports, says the Washington state native. We have incredible people and partners to support us, and I couldn't be happier with the direction we've taken as a team and company. This is the right place for me. »

“Our entire organization has a lot of respect for the way he works very hard, the professionalism he demonstrates with our partners and the way he conducts himself every day, continues Rick Hendrick. We aim to win races and compete for titles with him for years to come. »
