Nascar – Keselowski emerges from Talladega chaos

After Las Vegas (Nevada), Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) signed his second victory of the season, the 19th of his career and the fourth on this superspeedway, by winning the Geico 500 at Talladega (Alabama). The 2012 champion remained at the front in the last part of the race, allowing him to avoid the series of pileups that marked the event.

Fearing that the race would be interrupted by rain, the drivers quickly jostled to place themselves in the best positions. Among the most impressive crashes, Chris Buescher (Front Row Motorsports) stood out by ending his weekend with a series of rollovers.

Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) flew away and ended up in the guardrails after colliding with Danica Patrick (Stewart-Haas Racing).

The most impressive accident will remain the Big One on lap 161 involving 21 cars. Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing) was the unwitting cause after pushing Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) as the peloton approached a corner.
