Nascar – Kyle Larson remains undefeated in Michigan

Kyle Larson remained the master of the Michigan oval last night in Nascar Cup Series. Le pilote Chip Ganassi Racing a attendu le dernier restart dans les ultimes instants de l’épreuve pour réaliser une remise en action parfaite, et se porter en tête devant Martin Truex Jr et Erik Jones (Furniture Row – Toyota).

Larson will resist until the end to sign his third success of the year, and his third in a row at Michigan, after his victory in this same event in 2016 and during the first appearance last June.

The driver from Chip Ganassi's team thus ruins the hopes of the Furniture Row which seemed in a strong position with the Truex Jr - Jones tandem, the first mentioned having notably won the second segment of the race, after an initial success of Brad Keselowski (Team Penske – Ford).

In the last part of the race, the Colorado team had negotiated the last two neutralizations well, placing their two cars at the front, before the last yellow flag following a collision between Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing – Chevrolet) and Michael McDowall (Leavine Family Racing – Chevrolet).

Truex Jr and Jones finally completed the top 3 ahead of Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing) and Trevor Bayne (Roush Fenway Racing – Ford).
