With only five Sprint Cup Series races remaining before the final phase of the Nascar, the “Chase for the Cup”, David Reutimann is angry. Arriving last weekend in Pocono in 13th position in the standings, while only the first twelve remain in the running for the final victory, David Reutimann left Pennsylvania with 16th position. Now 121 points behind Greg Biffle, 12th, the Michael Waltrip Racing driver knows it will be difficult to get back into the Top 12.
David Reutimann attributes all this to Denny Hamlin, winner of the Pennsylvania 500 this Monday. Hamlin, in turn three of the triangular circuit, stuck with Reutimann's bumper, until the latter lost control of his car and hit Marcos Ambrose. David Reutimann is not ready to forgive the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. “ I'm really, really disappointed, and angry. Maybe we could talk about it so I can hear his point of view. If he tells me he made a mistake and he's sorry, then that's what will happen. But I wouldn't be any less disappointed. »
