Romain Dumas visiting Ford Performance… for NASCAR

Is Romain Dumas preparing for a new challenge in his career? After winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans, having tried his hand at the Dakar, record holder and winner of Pikes Peak, the native of Alès could be preparing for a new adventure.
This could take him to the other side of the Atlantic in a discipline that he does not know at all, at least when we talk about professional experience: NASCAR. The Habs indeed appeared installed at the wheel of what appears to be a simulator of the premier Stock car category from across the Atlantic.
On his social networks, he published some photos of his visit “ fast but nice » at Ford Performance in Charlotte, North Carolina. Romain Dumas has not confirmed anything but he has left doubt since he invites those who follow him to “ guess for what purpose » he went there.
From the looks of it, this can only be for the sake of a possible NASCAR round in the future as French has a good relationship with Ford. It was with the Detroit manufacturer that he participated in the last edition of Pikes Peak aboard the brand's famous SuperVan. To be continued…
