In the land of fries, the Frikadelli Racing Team will be conspicuous by its absence. Indeed, the German team has announced its package for the 24 2021 Hours of Spa (July 29-August 1). The cause was the tragic floods which devastated western Germany and part of Belgium (at least 191 dead).

“The events of the past week have deeply affected everyone, explains Klaus Abbelen, team director. »

Indeed, the Zuffenhausen manufacturer was counting on the Frikadelli Racing Team to aim for nothing more and nothing less than victory in the general classification, thanks to two 911 GT3 R entrusted to experts. Alas, the French Frédéric Makowiecki, Julien Andlauer and Patrick Pilet as well as their teammates Dennis Olsen, Thomas Preining and Michael Christensen will not be there.
