It was worth the wait! Absent from the Macau Grand Prix since 2019, the FIA GT World Cup returns to the former Portuguese colony from November 16 to 19, with a field of kings.

>> The entry list <

It's quite simple: all the previous winners of the FIA GT World Cup will be present! Starting with the Swiss Edoardo Mortara (Audi), nicknamed “Mister Macau” with his seven successes in Macau, F3 and GT3 combined. The Francophone will ride for Team Absolute.

At BMW, Augusto Farfus, winner in 2018 at the wheel of the M6, returns this time with the ROWE Racing M4. Another German brand, Porsche throws it heavy, with Laurens Vanthoor (winner in 2016 with his head upside down after a crash in an Audi), Thomas Preining (2023 champion of the DTM) or Matteo Cairoli (winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring).

Frenchman Kevin Estre will make his return to Macau at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 R. “ I am happy to return to Macau after four years of absence! This is one of my favorite tours and the event is always magnificent. I look forward to working with HubAuto Racing. My best result in Macau is second place, so I hope to do better this time. »

Mercedes will not be left out as Frenchman Jules Gounon will take part in his first FIA GT World Cup. “I am very excited to participate in the FIA GT World Cup. This is the first time in my life that I have run in Macau. I've heard a lot about this special circuit and I can't wait to start there. For me, it's about learning as quickly as possible and progressing with my Climax team, which is starting for the first time in Macau with Mercedes-AMG. I'm expecting an intense but also exciting weekend, with a lot of work for us. »

The brand with the star is taking with it Raffaele Marciello, another big name in GT3, title holder in Macau. “I am happy to be back in Macau. It is a good thing that the event is once again organized as part of the FIA GT World Cup. Therefore, we will definitely see a lot of cars on the track. I look forward to fighting for victory in the main race with Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf and of course hope to defend my title. »

Ferrari will not be left out with the arrival of Daniel Serra, former winner of the GTE Pro at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Brazilian will drive the new 296 GT3. Note that Ferrari has never won the FIA GT World Cup since its introduction in 2015.
