The winner of the last Junior Program Porsche Carrera Cup France knows its team to compete in the 2024 PCCF season. Paul Cauhaupé will play his first season in the category with the team Schumacher CLRT.

The 18-year-old young man, while remaining a student at Toulouse Capitole University with the status of a high-level athlete which will help him manage his travels on the circuits, will begin his season in Barcelona from April 12 to 14.

“Porsche has been my favorite brand since childhood, explains Paul Cauhaupé. Joining the Schumacher CLRT team was a logical choice because I have a lot of respect for the team, its success and its approach to competition. It is also a continuity in the Car Lovers universe (ex-LS Group), which I have been around for the last two seasons. The support from Porsche will be a big plus, particularly in terms of relationships. For 2024, I am aiming for the Rookie title and the overall podium. It's an ambitious goal but I will do everything to achieve it. »

Côme Ledogar, Team Manager of Schumacher CLRT: “It’s positive to welcome rookies, we have always liked working with young people who have performed in other categories. In addition, Paul is a bit like the common denominator of the entities that have joined forces under the Schumacher CLRT banner. As he is also the Junior Porsche Carrera Cup France 2024, it is clear that we all have a great story to write together. »

Edouard Schumacher, CEO of Car Lovers: “In this study, I think Paul showed the right balance and the jury probably felt it. Paul has a real depth, something magnetic, which you can even notice in photos. We perceive both his gentle and wise side and his fierce determination. It's great to be part of its blossoming. »

Gilles Zaffini, Sporting Director of Car Lovers: “For Paul, this is a well-deserved reward. Paul is a young driver who is always attentive, he is kindness itself while having a strong personality and behind the wheel, he is a devil. On the track, he always manages to adapt and be fast. He seems born for competition. When some can allow themselves to be destabilized by the pressure of the issue, he will be even more at ease. It's a great strength. »
