During qualifying, Marc Guillot set the best time in Pro-Am. “ I told my team that it would be great to be in 4'01 and towards the top-15, declared the wearer of No. 2. I did my lap in 4'01, which placed me 15th (Laughs). It's great to get a pole here. » This feeling of joy is obviously present throughout the team. “ It’s super satisfying for our start at Le Mans, and in the Cup this year, savored the team manager. What better could we dream of! » A victory would make this round even more fantastic but the priority remains the championship.

Finishing the race as your first objective

Even though the team is only in its first season in PCCF, Marc Guillot is using all his experience to progress quickly. The winner of the C1 at Magny-Cours is the leader of the Pro-Am championship thanks to great consistency.

If he hopes to win the race at Le Mans, the former Clio Cup driver does not forget that the most important thing is to score points. “ The goal is to take the checkered flag first because we can't afford to give up. It is essential to manage all the facts of the race well and not to make mistakes. » This is also the word that Mateo Herrero wants to convey to his pilot. “ The start will be very hot with 63 cars. We must try to keep our position without taking too many risks. Scoring points is important for the general ranking. »

While rain is expected for the Le Mans race, Marc Guillot would not be against this type of condition. “ I like it wet even though I've never ridden it here. It will be difficult during the flying start because of the water splashes. In the dry, it's much less impressive in the car than as a spectator. But in the rain, you can't see anything! » If he admits to being good at flying starts without “ too know why », Marc Guillot is not going to tempt the devil to, at all costs, win the Pro-Am race. Since in the end, it is consistency that could give him the title at the end of the year.
