After celebrating the LMP2 victory with Oak Racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Bertrand Baguette will take on a new challenge by participating in the Tours Speedway event contested on a 9° oval. The Belgian is a regular at oval races since the former Formula champion Renault 3.5 Series has two starts at the Indianapolis 500. The native of Verviers will be at the wheel of the Toyota Camry n°20 from Racing Club Partners on which he will team up with Éric van de Vyver.
“It's great to be able to drive on this kind of circuit again, even if I'm going to discover the Euro-Racecar Nascar, what's more on a 600 meter oval, a development that we did not use in IndyCar » comments Bertrand Baguette who joins max daddies among the wilcards. “It will be even nicer as it happens in Europe in an ambitious championship which offers exciting races on a new speedway which seems very interesting. I've never driven this kind of car before but it doesn't scare me! »
