Rigon-Molina-Aleshin reunited at SMP Racing

Their 2018 results do not reflect the potential of the trio. Only holders of a third place in the Barcelona final at the end of the season, Davide Rigon, Miguel Molina and Mikhail Aleshin failed to shine last year in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in the general classification with the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°72 – SMP Racing, incubated by AF Corse.

The 2018 campaign was thus marked by several twists of fate, notably at Paul Ricard, where a suspension issue put an end to hopes of good results. 2019 must therefore be the year of revenge for the only Ferrari 488 GT3 lined up in the Pro category, with a crew renewed this season.

“As last year's experience showed, the speed of our car is there, the team is ready to take on any challenges, Aleshin points out. With my teammates Davide Rigon and Miguel Molina, we worked very well together the previous season, so I think this year we have every chance of putting the pieces of the puzzle together. »
