Rocca takes advantage of Hezemans' misfortunes, Day penalized at Most

 Nicolo Rocca scored his first victory since 2015 in the Nascar Whelen Euro Series thanks to Loris Hezemans' engine failure four laps from the finish at Most this Saturday.

Rocca takes advantage of Hezemans' misfortunes, Day penalized at Most

The very first race of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series on the Most circuit (Czech Republic) crowned Nicolo Rocca. The Italian won Race 1 Elite 1 this Saturday June 29 following a turnaround four laps from the end, when leader Loris Hezemans broke his engine.

The podium is completed by Stienes Longin and Thomas Ferrando. In the championship, everything tightens up because Alon Day was penalized for a collision with Jacques Villeneuve. The Israeli is now only one point ahead of Stienes Longin and nine points ahead of Nicolo Rocca.
