Saintéloc creates the feat in Magny-Cours

This is not the Audi Saintéloc we were expecting. The top car, driven by Arthur Rougier and Christopher Haase, was expected to be among the favorites after its double podium at Misano for the opening of the sprint cup. But it was the Silver crew who impressed this weekend. Already very well qualified in race 1 on Saturday evening, Steven Palette and Simon Gachet lost everything even before the start by having to pit due to a puncture. They took their revenge on Sunday.

Starting from pole, Simon Gachet managed the first stint very well but remained under threat from the formidable Raffaele Marciello. The Italian made all the fuss at the end of the stint and managed to take the lead by a whisker at the exit from the pits. Timur Boguslavskiy was keen to showcase his defensive talents, demonstrated since the start of the season. This time the cork popped. The Russian made a mistake. Steven Palette was quick to take control and take off.

Boguslavskiy did not lose concentration and managed to stay ahead of Luca Stolz in the Mercedes Haupt Racing, winner yesterday.

Behind, the end of the race was marked by the fight between the Audi WRT of Charles Weerts-Dries Vanthoor and the other Saintéloc of Christopher Haase – Arthur Rougier. Weerts stayed in front and had a good performance in the championship, despite a slightly inferior car this weekend.

Much less happy, Attempto Racing lost its two cars in an accident. The CMR Bentley was also involved in the mayhem on the first lap and had to come back up. The sister car for its part abandoned. Weekend to forget for Bentley.

In Pro-AM, Giancarlo Fisichella and Jonathan Hui won for the second time this weekend in the Ferrari of Tempesta Racing. They did well to come and freelance.
