Ma Qing Hua entered with Boutsen Ginion Racing in Ningbo

Ma Qing Hua will make his WTCR debut by competing in the Ningbo (China) round scheduled for September 28-30 in a Honda Civic TCR with Boutsen Ginion Racing. The former Citroën driver who is the first Chinese to win an FIA world race will take the place of the still unavailable Tiago Monteiro after Benjamin Lessennes was initially expected to replace the Portuguese.

“It's a very good thing to join the discipline, even if I don't know the car and I haven't done a single lap on these circuits, comments Ma Qing Hua. I will also arrive in the middle of the season when everyone has more experience than me. It will be complicated with only two practice sessions before qualifying, but I will enjoy fighting against drivers such as Rob Huff, Gabriele Tarquini and Yvan Muller. »

The Asian driver, who has not been seen in competition since his participation in the final of the Formula e in New York last August where he replaced Oliver Turvey at NIO Formula e Team, will then take part in an event held in the streets of Wuhan. He made his TCR debut last year by participating in the final in Macau (China).
