Muller and Ehrlacher attack for the Hungaroring round

The French Yvan Muller and Yann Ehrlacher (Lynk & Co) are hoping to secure their first victory in the 2019 World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) season on April 27 and 28 on the Hungaroring track (Hungary), scene of the second round. 

In view during Race 3 in Marrakech (Morocco), where he led the event for around ten laps before suffering mechanical damage, Yvan Muller knows that he has sufficient equipment to win. “I don’t think about what could have happened in Marrakech. We still have a long way to go to develop our new cars (the Lynk & Co 03 managed by Cyan Racing. Editor’s note), but I never race for anything other than first place”, secures the record holder for titles in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC, 4).

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR has already obtained the laurels reserved for the winner, thanks to Thed Björk in Race 3 of WTCR by Oscaro in Morocco. The Swede is also the leader of the general classification after the first round.
