Tom Kristensen tests the Audi RS3 LMS in Marrakech

It's a somewhat unusual driver who was able to test the Audi RS3 LMS TCR entered by the Audi Sport Leopard Lukoil Team yesterday in Marrakech, Morocco, on the sidelines of the opening of the 2018 WTCR season.

Tom Kristensen, nine-time winner at Le Mans, and former pillar of Audi Sport's commitment to LM P1, actually tried his hand at driving the Neuburg creation on the Moroccan track. The Dane slipped into the seat of the car entrusted to Gordon Sheddon for a six-lap run.

“It is on these types of narrow tracks with lots of direction changes and bumpy sections that the car is incredibly agile, very responsive and also very good on the brakes. Being one of the first to drive these cars is pretty cool and amazing. »

The official running of Marraekch begins this Saturday.
