WTCR – Romeo Ferraris to stay with Alfa Romeo

The new WTCR Championship, a meeting of the WTCC and the TCR International Series, will be able to count on a new commitment with the presence of Romeo Ferraris. The Italian structure based in Opera has confirmed that it will be registered with two Alfa Romeo Giulietta on the ten rounds of the calendar.

“This is a big step for our company because we are arriving in an FIA-labeled series after two years in TCR International, comments Michela Cerruti, Romeo Ferraris operations director. The introduction of TCR to WTCR will certainly raise the level of competition and on-track spectacle in a discipline which always attracts a significant number of spectators and television viewers. »

Romeo Ferraris has not yet confirmed its drivers for the inaugural WTCR season which begins on April 7-8 at the Moulay El Hassan circuit in Marrakech (Morocco).
