In Italy, five cars did not start the two races on the program. With a significant risk of punctures, Cyan Racing and Cyan Performance decided to call their drivers back to the pits after each training lap.

Airs of the Nürburgring floated over the Autodromo Vallelunga. As in Germany, less than two months ago, the weekend of the 6th round of WTCR was marred by repeated punctures.
