Ultimate Cup Series – A fast-paced Saturday of races at Magny-Cours

Ultimate Cup Series Magny Cours – single-seater race 1

For this first race in car of the weekend, two words: action and rain. The competitors had to deal with a lot of rain. This did not prevent Konstantin Lachenauer from winning again.

The rain is back on the Magny-Cours circuit! A first in 2020 for the single-seaters and their young driver. The battle rages from the start of the race between Konstantin Lachenauer (Graff) and Pierre-Albert Fussela (Lamau). The lead in the race changed ownership several times, before being definitively sealed by Lachenauer.

Behind, errors and track excursions are frequent among the drivers. Many competitors slip just before the finish line. As a result, the red flag came out after the tenth lap. The race will not restart, and it is Konstantin Lachenauer who wins the race ahead of Pierre-Albert Fussela and Adrien Chila.

Ultimate Cup Series Magny Cours – race 1 Mitjet and race 2 GT Sprint

First morning of racing at Magny-Cours for this second 2020 round of the Ultimate Cup Series! The opportunity to see cars from the Mitjet and GT Sprint categories compete on the track.

On the GT Sprint side, Milan Petelet won the race. He is ahead of two other French people: Philippe Colançon and Maxime Mainguy.

The action has already resumed on the track as the cars perform their first qualifying sessions of the day. The Mitjet and GT Sprint categories will return from 14 p.m. for two more races.

Ultimate Cup Series Magny Cours – race 2 Mitjet

Jankavicius Povilas starts at the head of the race, just ahead of Sébastien Seveau. The race is quickly neutralized following a competitor's exit from the track. She leaves after the fourth round. Sébastien Seveau is overtaken by David Bouet and finds himself third in the race. The battle rages between the two pilots, and Povilas takes the opportunity to escape.

The Lithuanian driver won race 2, ahead of Sébastien Seveau. One everywhere for both opponents.
