The Honda NSX GT3 will benefit from a series of developments for the 2019 season. Engineers have notably reworked the bodywork to optimize handling and top speed.

A series of developments made to the Honda NSX GT3

The Honda NSX GT3 will in turn benefit from an evolved version for the 2019 season. The Japanese manufacturer's engineers have reworked the lines of the Japanese mount by providing it with a new front splitter, a new diffuser and a new rear bumper to to limit drag at high speeds, improve cooling and optimize balance and driving flexibility to suit a wider range of drivers.

 

 

“We are very happy with the result obtained with the 3 Honda NSX GT2019 Evo, commented Masashi Yamamoto, general manager of Honda Motorsports. While the car has already won in some of GT3's biggest races, we believe in improving our products and providing the best possible equipment for our customers. »

“Through the NSX GT3 Customer Program and an international collaboration between Honda's technical partners, we were able to combine expertise on a general level which allowed us to define a series of evolutions for the latest version of the NSX GT3 which will be beneficial for each client team”, added the representative of the Asian firm.

 

 

 

 

Among other new features, the Honda NSX GT3 Evo will benefit from new turbos for its 6l twin-turbo V3.5 in order to improve acceleration response time. Boost control and fuel consumption system will be introduced on all NSX GT3s in addition to the latest advanced models. The 2019 versions will have improved hardware software, new settings for ABS, and a new telemetry system also available for existing versions.
