The first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) will see the appearance ofAston Martin through the R-Motorsport team. Indeed, two Vantage V12 GT3 will be entered in the 12 Hours of Bathurst (Australia, January 31-February 3) to finally put the English brand on the list of winners for this event.
A car will be entered in the Pro category and will be entrusted to Matthieu Vaxivière, Jake Dennis and Marvin Kirchöfer, already seen at the wheel of the Vantage in 2018 in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The other GT3 will be allocated to the team bosses Andreas Baenziger and Florian Kamelger, accompanied by the local Peter Leemhuis and the newcomer Matt Parry in Pro-Am.
