WTCC: Bamboo with two Chevrolet Cruzes

The collaboration between Bamboo Engineering and Chevrolet began in 2009, when the team entered the BTCC, the British Touring Car Championship, with a Lacetti for Harry Vaulkhard. The following year, still with Lacetti, she tackled the world championship, with Hong Kong driver Darryl O'Young serving as top driver for the Silverstone-based structure. In 2011, a milestone was reached, this time Bamboo benefiting from two Cruzes equipped with the 1,6 liter turbo engine. As you don't change a successful team, Richard Coleman has renewed his contract with Chevrolet, which will provide him with two cars benefiting from the latest developments developed by Ray Mallock Limited, similar to those available to Yvan Muller, Alain Menu and Rob Huff, the three official drivers of the American manufacturer.

« The Cruze's career has been successful over the past two years and we are confident that this will continue in 2012 with the latest developments., is looking forward to Richard Coleman. Last year we took possession of the Cruze late and we only had it from the second round in Zolder. The impact on performance was immediate. Now we have a year of car experience behind us and it is certain that we will be able to fight for the Independent title this year again. » If the pilots have yet to be appointed, Coleman admitted “ that discussions are underway with tops. I hope we will be able to announce them in the next two weeks,” he concluded. In 2011, the team's colors were represented by Darryl O'Young and the Japanese Yukinuri Taniguchi.
