While Rob Huff was expected to stay with Ray Mallock Limited (the team that ran the official Chevrolets last year), the Briton announced he was joining the Germans Münnich Motorsport/All-Inkl. Huff replaces Markus Winkelhock who was previously announced within the team.
Rob Huff will therefore have a car to defend his title acquired in 2012: “It will be very special to face the WTCC competition with Seat León and a very professional team. I am delighted to join René and Marc, it is an exciting and very recent project, but the team has a very good reputation after winning the FIA GT1 World Championship in 2012. I am very grateful for the opportunity that has given me “is given and we look forward to building on this relationship”
The arrival of Rob Huff at Münnich Motorsport, however, supports the thesis that Yvan Muller remains with RML for the 2013 season.
