Alex Lynn extended at Mahindra Racing

Mahindra Racing confirmed this Wednesday the contract extension of Briton Alex Lynn, recruited for the final 2019-2020 races. The Indian team also presented the new livery of its M7Electro.

Alex Lynn extended at Mahindra Racing

For the first year certified World Championship for Formula E, Mahindra Racing will be able to count on a renewed duo of drivers. After having already confirmed the arrival in its ranks ofAlexander sims, from BMW i Andretti, the Indian team extended its collaboration with another Briton, Alex lynn.

The recent winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE Pro with Aston Martin Racing, had competed in the final six races of the 2019-2020 campaign replacing Pascal Wehrlein, and will therefore be able to extend his adventure with Dilbagh Gill's troops in 2021.

“I had the opportunity to drive the M7Electro during several days of testing and we are all very proud of what we came up with, Lynn comments.

We won't fully know how competitive we are until the lights go out in Santiago (Chile January 16-17), but we are here to constantly fight for wins and podiums.

This is what the team is committed to and me too. On that front, I am extremely excited and focused to deliver the results that this hard-working team deserves. »

Mahindra Racing took the opportunity to unveil the livery of its M7Electro. The latter will feature as its main novelty a clear evolution in its e-Transmission, developed in partnership with Shell.

Finally, note that Nick Heidfeld retains his position as the team's reserve and test driver, as well as special advisor.
