Alvaro Parente dominates the tests

Portuguese Alvaro Parente dominated the second day of GP2 Series testing in Barcelona. Under the sun, the Ocean Racing Technology driver was the fastest of the day's two sessions.

Winner in Barcelona last season, Alvaro Parente once again showed his perfect knowledge of the Catalan track by beating Lucas di Grassi (Fat Burner) and Davide Valsecchi (Durango).

Nico Hulkenberg (ART Grand Prix), Champion F3 Euro Series, ahead of Giedo van der Garde (iSport), Champion Formula 3.5 Series) in fourth and fifth places. Also a good performance from the Catalan rookie Dani Clos (Fat Burner).

Romain Grosjean (Barwa Addax) is only in twelfth place, 0??686 behind Parente. Eighteen drivers finish the day in the same second. Nelson Panciatici (Durango) finished 21st at 1??236.
