Antonio Fuoco ends the season with a victory

After an aborted first start following the stalling of Sergio Sette Câmara (Carlin), Antonio Fuoco (Charouz Racing) takes the lead of the race, passing pole sitter Roberto Merhi (Campos).

Following the incident on the first lap between Sean Gelael (Prema Racing) and Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time) and the intervention of the virtual safety car, the race resumed. This is without counting on the deactivation of the DRS halfway through the race, freezing the positions until the last minutes.

At the end of the race, the tire degradation intensified and Roberto Merhi finally could not resist Lando Norris (Carlin) who passes him on the last lap.

Antonio Fuoco (Charouz Racing) wins the last race of the season, his second victory this year ahead of Lando Norris who takes his 2e place in the championship and Roberto Merhi who signs his 2e podium of the year. George Russell finishes his season in 4e place and will not beat the record for victories in a season which he co-holds by Stoffel Vandoorne (in GP2) and Charles Leclerc.

Nyck de Vries (Prema Racing) and Louis Delétraz (Charouz Racing) followed in front of Artem Markelov (Russian Time) who was in great difficulty at the end of the race. Alex Albon (DAMS) dates back to 8e rank while Luca Ghiotto (Campos) and Sergio Sette Câmara complete the top 10 while Dorian Boccolacci (MP Motorsport) ends its season with an 11e instead.
