Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler extends Daniel Abt

Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt will continue to lead the assault for Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Formula E in 2019-2020. The team of the brand with the rings confirmed this Thursday morning, a few hours before the New York final, the contract extension of Daniel Abt.

The duo is the only one to have remained stable since the launch of the 100% electric single-seater championship in 2014 and notably brought the title to Audi Sport last year, with in particular two successes for Abt in Mexico and at home in Germany in Berlin.

Daniel Abt will try to best help his teammate Lucas di Grassi this weekend over the two rounds of the New York final, the Brazilian being best placed to try to prevent a second consecutive coronation for Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah).
