Berthon at Racing Engineering

Nathanaël Berthon wanted to compete in the 2011 GP2 Series season, being close to an agreement with DAMS. In the end, the young Frenchman approached Racing Engineering and will only be present in the GP2 Asia Series, before the return of the discipline to Europe. For the main series, Christian Vietoris will recover his steering wheel to team up with Dani Clos.

But, for the driver of the French FFSA team, the main thing is done: after the GP2 tests, Nathanaël Berthon will race in competition. “I am very happy to be able to join the GP2 Asia Series with Racing Engineering,” confides the Frenchman.

Nathanaël Berthon, French Formula champion Renault 2.0 in 2009, is using his past experience to hope to compete in a good GP2 Asia Series championship. “Last year was my first year in Formula Renault 3.5 and I was able to get on the podium several times and achieve a victory. I arrive in GP2 with the same motivation and want to place myself at the top. »
