Bianchi, sparkling debut in GP2

Jules, fourth Thursday, third this Friday: you must be happy for your GP2 debut?
?It?s really good to be able to get on the podium for my first GP2 race. I came here to learn, because our main goal is to win the championship in the main series (in Europe). So I came to GP2 Asia to learn, learn how to start, learn pit stops. So to already be on the podium is really a good thing for us.

Did you get a big scare after your pit stop?
It was a bit slippery in the tunnel and I was very close to the wall at that point. It was not easy with the cold tires and everything else. It was the first time for me so overall it's pretty good. I still have a lot to learn if I want to improve and finish in first place so we will work and see what happens.

To gain your third position you had to overtake Javier Villa. How did you surprise him?
We were coming to the inside of the last corner and I was going to take the outside but I didn?t have room, and he braked a little early, so I was able to pass him. I tried to catch Davide (Valsecchi) but he was too fast so it wasn't possible. Staying on track and finishing P3 is really good for a first race in GP2. »
