Bianchi stands out

At the start of October, while the GP2 Series season ended with the title of Nico Hulkenberg, three days of tests are on the program on the Jerez circuit in the south of Spain. Under an omnipresent sun, Jules Bianchi, the championship leader F3 Euro Series, stood out by setting the third fastest time in the morning session before moving to the top of the timesheet in the afternoon (1:26.919) ahead of experienced drivers who competed in the GP2 Series championship this season .

The Frenchman from the ART Grand Prix team was not the only French driver to carry out tests in anticipation of next season. Charles Pic, currently second in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, also rode for the Arden team and was not unworthy either. He thus set the sixth and eighth times of the two sessions. The absolute best time of the day, however, was achieved by Davide Valsecchi (Party Poker Racing.com) in 1:26.408.

The winter tests will continue today and tomorrow with the expected presence of the five-time World Rally Champion, Sébastien Loeb, who will carry out a test day on Thursday within the DPR team.
