C1: Russell wins a choppy race

Left since 4e position, George Russell (ART GP) benefited from the takeoff problems ofAlexander albon (DAMS) to take second place behind Nyck de Vries (Prema). The Briton will only wait 6 laps before taking control of the race with authority after already two virtual safety cars.

Concerns about rain did not last either and the race was only interrupted by two final virtual safety cars. Russell still had to resist the constant attacks of De Vries and the return of Lando Norris (Carlin) at the end of the race, on an offbeat strategy.

George Russell wins his second race in a row ahead of Nyck de Vries and Lando Norris. Luca Ghiotto (Campos) signs his best result of the season with a 4e place while Albon has to be satisfied with a 5e position. Also on a shifted strategy, Jack Aitken (ART GP) suffered more than Norris and only finished 6e ahead of Sergio Sette Câmara and the Russian Time of Artem Markelov and Tadasuke Makino who fought to the end for the reverse pole, which went to the Russian. Antonio Fuoco (Charouz) completes the top 10.
