C2: De Vries signs his first victory of the season

The start was marked by several problems for the ART GP involving the retirement before the start of Jack Aitken and two laps less for George Russell, victim of an engine problem.

At the start, Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time) missed his takeoff and it was Nicholas latifi (DAMS) who took the lead on the first lap ahead of Louis Delétraz (Charouz Racing) and Nyck de Vries (Prema Racing). The Canadian, however, was in great difficulty throughout the race and quickly got past the podium.

One time in the lead, Louis Delétraz was passed by De Vries halfway through the race before building a lead of 10 seconds. The action of the race came on the last lap when Nicholas Latifi broke his front wing but still managed to reach the finish despite a puncture to his right front tire.

Nyck de Vries offers Prema Racing its first victory of the year ahead of Louis Delétraz and Luca Ghiotto (Campos) who climbs onto the podium for the second time this weekend. Antonio Fuoco (Charouz) finishes 5^e before Lando Norris (Carlin) who is regaining color at the championships.

The Briton finished ahead of his teammate Sergio Sette Câmara and Alexander albon (DAMS) which also manages to score points in a complicated weekend. Latifi finishes 8^e while Santino Ferrucci (Trident) and Roy Nissany (Campos) complete the top 10.
