C2: Latifi returns to victory

Starting from pole position, Nicholas latifi (DAMS) maintains his advantage at the start over Luca Ghiotto (Campos Racing) while Nyck de Vries (Prema Racing), started from 8e place arises in 3e position after the Source.

The Italian quickly lost grip and was passed by several drivers while the Canadian took off, faster than de Vries, who had dominated the day before. In the final laps, the battle for 2e place is packed Lando Norris (Carlin) and Alex Albon (DAMS) which pass from Vries in the last passage to Les Combes. The Thai with better grip tries to attack Norris but ultimately remains 3e.

Nicholas Latifi wins his second race in F2 after Silverstone 2017. He is ahead of Lando Norris and Alex Albon by more than ten seconds on the line. Nyck de Vries manages to stay ahead of Artem Markelov (Russian Time). Luca Ghiotto finishes 6e ahead of George Russell (ART GP) sorely lacking pace.

Arjun Maini (Trident) overtakes Sergio Sette Câmara (Carlin) on the last lap to pocket the last point of the event. Jack Aitken completes the top 10 for ART GP and Dorian Boccolacci (MP Motorsport) ranks 18e after having stalled on the grid. Lando Norris is 5 points behind George Russell in the championship.
