C2: Russell winner after a fantastic comeback

The start was once again marked by clutch problems for 5 drivers who stalled completely in addition to the two MP Motorsport on the front row who missed their takeoff, allowing Nicholas latifi (DAMS) first led the race for a lap before Sergio Sette Câmara (Carlin) overtook the Canadian.

Meanwhile, George Russell (ART GP), part 12e, is already 5e on the second lap and continues his comeback passing Ralph Boschung (MP Motorsport) and attacks Lando Norris (Carlin) and Latifi. Three abreast at the first corner, Norris is the loser of the maneuver since he fails to brake and loses four positions. It was enough for the Briton from ART GP to continue his recovery by passing Latifi a lap later.

A time with a comfortable mattress in second place, Sette Câmara could not resist the thunderous return of the pilot Mercedes who won his first race in Formula 2 and becomes the 4e different winner in 4 races. The Brazilian signs his 3e podium of the season ahead Nyck de Vries.

Nicholas Latifi concludes a solid weekend with a 4e place ahead of Lando Norris who remains at the top of the championship by one point ahead of his teammate. Arjun Maini and Santino Ferrucci offer Trident their first points of the year ahead of Roberto Merhi who repeats his result from the day before ahead of Ralph Boschung and Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time).
