So here you are in Formula E in parallel with the GTE Pro at Ferrari !

I'm really happy, it's one of the championships to be in right now. This is a top-level series, just like the WEC. I'm going to spend less time at home, my schedule is going to be busy, but it's a great opportunity. I have always been attracted to Formula E.

You will have to relearn everything...

Electric is brand new to me. It's going to be difficult, I don't know any circuits, but it will do, I'm sure. Jaguar has a good simulator, knows that I am a rookie and is aware that it will take me a little time before I am at the top. From what I saw in testing, the pace over a lap is good, but I still need to learn to manage energy well.

When did this agreement take place?

A long time ago, even if it wasn't easy to negotiate the two contracts. Now I can't wait to get started. Unfortunately there is a clash of dates with the WEC and I will be at Sebring.

When was your last appearance in car ?

Six years ago (3rd in GP2 with ART Grand Prix and Force India test driver. Editor's note), but honestly, it makes no difference, it doesn't get lost, it's like the bike. And the aero load level is not the same. After three laps, I was on the pace, but you have to be careful not to “overdrive” and the experience accumulated in GT in the WEC helps me a lot.

Passionate about the history of motorsport across all disciplines, I learned to read thanks to AUTOhebdo. At least that's what my parents tell everyone when they see my name inside!
