Tatiana Calderon will become the first woman to compete in F2. The 25-year-old Colombian will join the BWT Arden team.

Calderon becomes first female driver in F2

Tatiana Calderon takes one more step towards her ultimate goal which is the F1. The former test pilot ofAlfa Romeo Sauber F1 will become the first woman to compete in the F2 after being confirmed within the BWT Arden team which will benefit from a technical partnership with HWA Racelab.

“This is a new challenge in my career that brings me closer to my ultimate goal of racing in F1., confirms the one who was able to drive the C37 during a promotional shoot on the Rodriguez Brothers circuit in Mexico. I am sure that we will achieve great things together. I can't wait to start testing next week. »

The Arden structure will not be a discovery for Tatiana Calderon who has already played with this team in the GP3 Series in 2016. The rookie will team up with the reigning GP3 champion Antoine Hubert.
