Charles Pic signs up with Addax

Charles Pic continues his career in car by joining one of the best GP2 Series teams, Barwa Addax. The team, which welcomed Romain Grosjean and Vitaly Petrov in 2009, Sergio Perez in 2010, will allow Charles Pic to have the best chance of shining next season. He will team up with Giedo van der Garde, seventh in the last championship.

Third in Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2009, the Frenchman joined GP2 immediately, via the Arden International team. Fifth in GP2 Asia Series, Charles Pic quickly showed that he was at the level of the discipline. Winner of the first race of the season, in Barcelona, ​​he then returned to the podium at Hockenheim. Finally 10th, the driver of the French FFSA Circuit team sometimes lacked success.

It is therefore with the desire to do better that Charles Pic will begin the 2011 season. He will ride for Barwa Addax, the team he worked alongside during testing at the end of November in Abu Dhabi. “I am very happy to drive for Addax next year,” confides the young Frenchman. I know it will be a difficult year with very strong drivers but we will work hard to be strong and achieve our goals. »
