Danica continues with Andretti

Danica Patrick, the highest ranked American driver entered in IndyCar Series this season, will continue for three years in the discipline. The sexiest driver in American motorsport (skeptical? Click here) has in fact signed for three more seasons with the team with which she will race this season, Andretti Autosport (formerly Andretti Green Racing). The information was revealed by Danica Patrick and Michael Andretti this Monday during the famous ABC show, Good Morning America.

Michael Andretti helped me become a better driver and we hope to do good work together in the years to come. My long-time dream is to win the Indy 500 and I would like to accomplish it with my GoDaddy.com car. » Indeed, the sponsor Go Daddy has decided to continue its commitment to the young woman for the seasons to come.

Danica Patrick had however been approached to join the Nascar Nationwide Series (“second division” of Nascar) from 2010, many Americans wanting to see the young woman appear in the most popular discipline across the Atlantic. The JR Motorsports team was notably cited as being close to Danica to offer the latter a program in the Nationwide Series.
