Drugovich best time of the week in Barcelona

For the final day of testing in Barcelona, the teams once again worked hard during the two sessions on the menu. The first was used in particular by the drivers to string together fast laps before a very different program in the afternoon.

In this game, it was Felipe Drugovich who appeared most comfortable on the Barcelona circuit. The UNI-Virtuosi representative quite simply set the best time of the three days of testing for the F2 in Spain.

With a time of 1'27"945, the Brazilian was the only driver in the field to go below the 1'28 mark in Barcelona.

Oscar piastri (Prema), Christian Lundgaard (ART Grand Prix) and Liam Lawson (Hitech) also completed qualifying laps without running in Felipe Drugovich's time. Ultimately, the three men ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the timesheet.

French Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) finished the morning session in 6th position, just over half a second behind the best mark.

The afternoon was used by the teams to work on the long relays. Obviously, the times were slower than those of the morning, as were the positions. The leading men of the first session worked on other settings and finished beyond the Top 10 apart from Oscar Piastre who was in 10th place.

Bent Viscaal (Trident) had the luxury of finishing these tests with the best time of the afternoon thanks to a lap completed in 1'30"280. The Dutchman beat Matteo Nannini (HWA) and Marino Sato (Trident).

The next F2 round is scheduled for Monaco in May (20-23).
