The DS-Techeetah team unveiled this Wednesday, November 25, the livery which will adorn the single-seaters on the occasion of the seventh season of Formula E in the hands of double champion Jean-Éric Vergne and the title holder, Antonio Félix Da Costa.
No surprise, the decoration is sober and classy with black and gold. Size precision, the French team will start the season with the car DS E-Tense FE20, the 2020 version and not a new model.

“Due to the health crisis, the rules have changed regarding the powertrain, specifies Xavier Mestelan-Pinon, Director of DS Performance. Usually we have to have a new car homologated every season, but today we have the possibility of postponing this introduction until the end of the 2021 championship.
At DS Performance, given our excellent results, we have chosen to carry out two programs at the same time. Firstly, we have significantly evolved the DS E-Tense FE20, last season's winner, in order to start the 2021 championship with an extremely reliable and even more efficient car. Second, we design in parallel a new car, which will debut at the Rome ePrix, after the first third of the season. »
