Dubai – Race 3: Antonelli cannot resist Boya, last winner of the weekend

Third race and third different winner. After Dino Beganovic (Mumbai Falcons) on Friday et Nikhil Bora (R-ace GP) earlier this Saturday, Mari Boya (Hyderabad Blackbirds) is on 3^e driver to enter the winner's circle in this FRMEC 2023 near Dubai.

Starting at the front line, the Spaniard quickly got moving. Although he did not succeed in attacking pole-sitter Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mumbai Falcons) when the lights went out, Mari Boya did not wait long before making his mark. Upon contact with the Italian, the Catalan gained the upper hand over his counterpart before the end of the first sector of the Dubai Autodrome.

New leader of this last race of the weekend, Mari Boya then experienced a relatively quiet event. Andrea Kimi Antonelli not benefiting from the same freshness of tires, the Hyderabad Blackbirds driver gradually widened the gap until crossing the finish line with a little more than 2 seconds ahead of his rival. Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (Pinnacle VAR) completed the podium.

Penalized in Race 1, 17^e in Race 2, Gabriele Mini (Hitech GP) further mastered his last outing. Fifth on the grid, the Italian reached the finish in 6^e position. Leader of the championship before the start, Taylors Barnard (PHM Racing) was forced to retire after a collision with Matias Zagazeta (R-ace GP), also on the mat.
