F2 – De Vries and Ghiotto lead the first day in Bahrain

Luca Ghiotto was the fastest in the first session of the morning with a reference time of 1'44''042 which allowed him to beat the two Charouz Racing System teammates, namely Antonio Fuoco and Louis Delétraz. Maximilian Günther (Arden) was the best rookie of the morning, falling just short of the top 3.

Overall, the afternoon session went faster than the morning session, which explains how Nyck de Vries took the best mark of the day with a time of 1'43''785. During this session he is ahead of the Swiss Louis Delétraz, once again well placed, and Lando Norris (Pug). Arjun Maini (Trident) emerged as the best rookie of the day with a time of 1'44''115. In the combined times game, the Italian from Campos, however, remains in the top 3 of the day.

Concerning the number of laps covered, it is the two ART Grand Prix drivers who have accumulated the most kilometers: with 68 loops completed, Jack Aitken is ahead of George Russell by 3 laps.
